The Bar - White Dog
The cosy bar is the focal point of the White Dog. It has a huge inglenook fireplace framed by horse brasses and hops and is comfortably furnished and softly lit. It makes an ideal place to be on a cold winter's evening, or indeed on a summer’s day as there is also a front terrace and a garden that backs onto the Rother River valley, providing sensational views all the way down to Bodiam Castle.
Drinks at the White Dog vary from real ales, bitters and stout to bottled lagers and cider and there is also an extensive wine list, chosen by Bill and Jacqui. It features wines from Italy, France, New Zealand, Australia and Chile as well as the local Sedlescombe Vineyards.
We also have a games room next to the bar with darts, pool and a games machine, and dogs and children are welcome. Why not pop by for a drink and see why so many of our customers are regulars?
